Amenhotep III

Amenhotep III was Pharaoh of Egypt and the ninth ruler of the Eighteenth Dynasty.
The reign of Amenhotep III is noted for the issue of commemorative scarabs, celebrating his achievements, as well as events within his reign.

Death and Burial
An extensive funerary temple of Amenhotep III was constructed on the Theban West Bank at the site known as Kom el-Hettan, currently the focus of excavations by the Amenhotep III Temple Conservation Project.
