Dahshur

Dahshur (Arabic: دهشور Dahšūr; often rendered—incorrectly—as Dashur) is an archaeological locality, the remains of an ancient Egyptian royal necropolis, located on the desert plateau above the west bank of the Nile River some 40 km south of Cairo.
