Djoser

Djoser was the second ruler of the Third Dynasty of Egypt and considered the founding personality of the Old Kingdom (his importance in this respect confirmed by the Turin Canon's exceptional use of red ink for the writing of his name.

Djoser is probably best-known for the construction of his burial place at Saqqara, the Step Pyramid.
