Translation
[To] the magnate, speak -
[Thus (message of) P]aapu:
{A]t your feet I fal[l].
May you know that
Šipṭi-Baʿlu and Zimreda
are acting disloyally
together,
and Šipṭi-Baʿlu said
to Zimreda:
"The [for]ces of (the town of) Yaramu
[h]ave written to me.
[G]ive me
[x +] 11 bows, 3 daggers
and 3 swords. Look, I
am about to go forth against the land
of the king and you are allied
with me".
And yet he rejects
(any accusation of) disloyalty to the crown,
(saying): "The one who is disloyal to the king
is Paapu, so send him
[t]o me".
I [no]w send Rabi-Ilu.
He will [certain]ly answer him
[i]n this matter.
