Hoard of Bronze Objects, Tel Yarmuth
From ArchaeoWiki
A Hoard of Bronze Objects, several with clear Egyptian origins, was discovered at Tel Yarmuth in [1996]]. A total of 15 bronze objects were included within the hoard:
- a Fragmentary Bronze Plaque with Hieroglyphic Inscription
- a socketed hoe - of a type well-attested in Nineteenth Dynasty Egypt
- an element of furniture (?)
- twelve medium-large fragments of bronze sheathing folded like a piece of cloth - several fitted together and may once have covered a larger object
