Sahure

Sahure was the second ruler of the Fifth Dynasty in the Old Kingdom period of ancient Egypt, succeeding his father and founder of the dynasty Userkaf.
The pyramid complex of Sahure was the first to be built at the new royal necropolis at Abusir, north of Saqqara.
