Tell Kazel
From ArchaeoWiki
Tell Kazel is an important archaeological site and city-mound in present-day Syria. The site is identified with ancient Ṣumur, capital of Amurru and an Egyptian garrison city in the Late Bronze Age.
It has been suggested that Tell Laka, a small city-mound on the left bank of the Nahr el-Abrash, may have served as the ancient riverine port of Tell Kazel-Ṣumur[1].
